The documents are ready. Now what?

YOUR RAISE PLAYBOOK, INCLUDED IN EVERY PACKAGE

Most founders finish their deck and diligence package and then stall, because nobody told them who to ask, in what order, or what to say. Your Raise Playbook is the written answer: a 20-chapter manual built for your company, loaded in your tools, and launched with Joel on the call.

Every package ends the same way.

Once your deck, financials, terms and diligence package are done, you get a second deliverable: a written plan for the raise itself. Who to approach, in what order, through which channel, with what message, and what to do with every reply.

It is not a template.

It is written for your company: your raise size, your exemption, your industry and your network. Every client starts with Running the Raise, the general guide to asking, launching, tracking and closing. A Network Raise playbook then builds that plan around the people you already know. A Growth Capital playbook adds the industry and local targeting chapter. A Reg CF playbook adds the community campaign chapter. Same spine, different chapters.

Then we run the first wave together.

We write the plan. You run the raise.

The playbook is delivered at the end of your engagement, loaded into the tools you will actually use. On the launch call, the first wave of messages goes out with Joel on the line. For the 90 days after, reply drafts and weekly numbers are reviewed on Slack within 24 business hours.

We don't solicit investors, introduce investors, negotiate securities or take a percentage of the money raised.

What's inside your Raise Playbook:

Your raise on one page: amount, terms, exemption, minimum check and the timeline

Your investor profile: who writes a check for a company like yours, and who never will

Your list, in order: your network scored and sequenced, plus a step-by-step method for building industry and local lists yourself

Your messages: the ask, the follow-ups and the reply scripts, written in your voice and loaded in your tools

Your channels: email, calls, LinkedIn, introductions, events and, for a Reg CF raise, the community campaign

Accredited investor verification: why you never self-verify, and which third-party services to use

Launch week, day by day: what goes out, when, and how many hours it takes you

The weekly numbers: what to track, what good looks like, and when to change course

The appendix: templates, your investor one-pager, the meeting brief and debrief, the launch checklist and a plain-English glossary

Every chapter starts from Running the Raise, the general guide every client receives, and is rewritten for one company. Twenty chapters, and no two playbooks are the same, because no two raises are.

Who does what, from launch to close.

We write the plan

Every chapter is written for your company: the targets, the sequence, the messages and the weekly numbers.

You approve the list

Nobody is contacted until you have reviewed the list, struck anyone you want off it, and added the people only you know.

We load your tools

The list, the sequences and the templates go into your CRM and email tools before launch, so day one is sending, not setup.

You send, in your name

Every message goes out from you, to a list you approved. Investors hear from the founder, and every relationship stays yours.

We launch with you

On the launch call, the first wave goes out with Joel on the line, so the first replies land while we are still together.

You run the meetings

The meeting brief tells you what each investor will ask. The debrief tells you what to do next. You take the meetings and make the decisions.

We stay at your side for 90 days

Four sessions timed to the raise, and reply drafts and weekly numbers reviewed on Slack within 24 business hours.

What we don't do

This distinction is important. Prepared to Raise does not:

Solicit investors

Introduce investors on the company's behalf

Act as a placement agent, broker or finder

Negotiate securities transactions

Provide legal, accounting or audit services

Take a percentage of the capital raised

Take equity or warrants in exchange for our services

We prepare; the company raises.

That separation is intentional.

An experienced capital-markets perspective

Prepared to Raise was founded by Joel Arberman, who has spent more than 30 years in capital markets as an analyst at multi-billion-dollar asset managers, an institutional sell-side equity research analyst and a partner at a 700-person investment bank.

Joel has taken 17 companies public, including four of his own companies, and has prepared founders for more than 30 private placements.

That experience is what goes into every Raise Playbook.

What will an investor want to know?

What questions will they ask?

Where will they find inconsistencies?

What will make the opportunity difficult to understand?

What needs to be addressed before the first investor meeting?

WHAT TO EXPECT

Honest expectations.

A plan, not a promise

The playbook removes the guesswork and raises your odds. It cannot promise that an investor says yes. The business, the terms and the founder decide that.

Written, not done for you

We don't solicit investors or send messages on your behalf. You send, you meet, you close. The playbook makes sure you always know the next step.

Yours to keep

The playbook, the list and every investor relationship are yours, in your tools, long after the 90 days end. No finder fees, no equity, no percentage of what you raise.

How your playbook comes together

01
Readiness Assessment

The written assessment names the investor types who fit your raise, and you receive Running the Raise, the general version of the plan. That list becomes chapter one of your playbook.

02
Preparation

While the strategy, materials and diligence package are built, the playbook is written alongside them: your profile, your list, your messages and your channels.

03
Delivery

You receive the finished playbook, review the list, and we load everything into your CRM and email tools before the launch call.

04
Launch

The first wave goes out with Joel on the call. Then 90 days at your side: four sessions, and reply drafts and weekly numbers reviewed on Slack within 24 business hours.

The most common thing we hear from founders:
"The deck is done. I just don't know who to send it to."

That's the problem the playbook solves.

The playbook is included in the Network Raise, Growth Capital and Reg CF packages. There is no extra fee for it, and no way to buy it on its own.
